Close up IR " El infrarrojo cercano"

We are used to seeing the visible light. But we can´t see light IR which (ranges from 700 to 1000 nm).

Take pics in this range it´s truly spectacular.

How capture this spectacular pics with digital camera?

The best camera for taking IR are the compact and bridge, because they have not blocking filter.

We can use some reflex camera too, but they have a blocking filter, depending on the density filter, they will let rays of light pass throught it. 

We take a test shot of an infrared remote ( tv remote control) while pressing and holding any botton on the remote the brighter the dot, the more sentive your camera is to infrared try diferents remotes lenses and camera if you have them. Just right.

Estamos acostumbrados a ver la luz visible, pero no podemos ver la luz IR del rango de los (700 a 1000 nm). Tomar fotografías en este rango es verdaderamente espectacular.

¿Como obtener fotografías espectaculares con las cámaras digitales?

Las cámaras mejor preparadas para captar el IR son las compactas y las cámaras puente (prosumer) porque no tienen filtro de corte.

Hay también algunas cámaras réflex preparadas para captar la luz IR, pero tienen un filtro de corte , dependiendo de la densidad del filtro dejarán pasar más o menos luz IR.

Cogemos cualquier mando a distancia, pulsamos una tecla del mando,colocamos la cámara delante y a través de la pantalla sí vemos un destello de luz en el mando, la cámara está preparada para el IR. Perfecto.
